Hello neighbors As 10 year residents on Pier Avenue, we have watched the traffic become faster and more dangerous, not only for us living there but for anyone turning onto or walking on the very narrow shoulder.  Those of us that walk or run every day know how difficult it is. It’s a little sad to see some of the old wooden barns on the North Fork fall into disrepair and sometimes collapse. Sadder still was my assumption that the number of such structures would only decrease, that any new barns would be of the metal shed variety. I’m very happy to have been proven wrong over the last few years.
