Supervisor Jerry Halpin presided over the Town of Riverhead meeting with multiple Civics in the Town. Linda Prizer and Nancy Beckmann were there representing Northville Beach. Police Chief Frost has sent out active enforcement to monitor the speed on Pier. While traffic is lighter at this time of year, the cars and especially trucks are still going too fast. A patrol car presence should help. He will put up a speed box when the weather is better to determine actually how many are going too fast. Stay safe through the storm this weekend. Think spring!
