Kathy's Korner-- Candidate Forums

If you are a Riverhead voter, the election this November includes Town Supervisor and two Town Board Member positions. It could be a sea change for this Town, and I urge everyone who can to vote.

There will be three candidate forums this month (the former Latin teacher in me wants to write "fora" 😉), where you can ask questions and hear what all the candidates have to say. So we should all try to fit one in to our busy schedules. Here they are:

Thursday, Sept. 21, 7 p.m., Riley Avenue Elementary School, 374 Riley Avenue, Calverton, co-hosted by the Greater Calverton Civic Association and the Wading River Civic Association.

Saturday, Sept. 23, 2 p.m., Riverhead Free Library, 330 Court Street, Riverhead hosted by the Heart of Riverhead Civic Association.

Wednesday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m., Jamesport Meeting House, 1590 Main Road, Jamesport, hosted by the Greater Jamesport Civic Association.
