In case you happened to notice as I did recently that the Town Board had on its Work Session agenda for Executive Session (not open to the public) pending litigation between The United Riverhead Terminal and the Town of Riverhead and it caused you to wonder might be going on, I made inquiry and have learned it is a URT challenge to its tax assessment. So rest easy, as of right now there is nothing new regarding the proposed housing development on URT property or any change to URT operations. Should I learn anything new I will let you know.
