PRESS RELEASE Riverhead IDA announces public information session with representatives from Calverton Aviation & Technology Innovation Hub.

The Riverhead Industrial Development Agency (RIDA) has again requested the representatives of Calverton Aviation & Technology, LLC (CAT) to discuss the acquisition and proposed development within a portion of the property within the Enterprise Park in Calverton (EPCAL) during a public information session to be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. This public information session is intended to provide an opportunity for the CAT team to describe its proposed financial structure for the acquisition and development of the project, as well provide an opportunity to demonstrate their market presence.

The public session will be held in the Riverhead Town Hall meeting room at 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead beginning at 5pm. The meeting is open to the public and will be limited to two hours. This will not be the Agency’s public hearing (which will be held at a later date), however a comment period will be provided.

The public information session can also be viewed live on the town’s website at www.townofriverheadny.gov under Channel 22 using the live stream link.

Participants may also attend using a zoom link. Please email the RIDA office by close of business on Monday, August 21st at director@riverheadida.org for log on instructions. You must include your name, address and phone number within the email.

Pre-registration is only required for those attending virtually.
