Kathy's Korner

Happy New Year to All. We start the year with some slightly alarming news. Catsimatidis, who owns the oil terminal, has filed an application for a large housing subdivision. It proposes 72 units on the bluffs west of the oil terminal and north of Sound Shore Rd., and about 100 single family homes north of Sound Ave on land south of the oil terminal. This project includes access to the beach.

This is just the beginning and I will keep you posted as I learn more. There are 3 conceptual plans and I am including one of them to give you an idea of just what is being planned.
