A bit of an introduction. I am Kathy McGraw and I've been coming to Northville since childhood--before the oil terminal was here! I'm retired and spend lots of time keeping up with local government. There's an awful lot going on in Riverhead and, in my view, a lot of it is not good--at least if you are interested in trying to maintain the rural character of the North Fork. I will be posting with information about Town Government but, as many of you know me, you may detect a teeny bit of a point of view. I will avoid politics as I want to keep this informative and not combative in any way. Most importantly though, if something grabs you, run with it--write letters, show up at meetings, let your voices be heard. The website below is a crucial source of info for what is going on at Town Hall. You can find meetings, agendas, documents and a link to channel 22 where you can watch local government in action.
